semi-update

If there was one word I could use to describe the last few weeks, hectic, would be my first choice. Things have just not slowed down - We have had family come and stay, Claudia's christening, preparing Joe for his OS trip (off to Las Vegas with work) and I am undertaking two uni subjects, of which no assignments have even been looked at by me and one which is due next week!

So this post is short and sweet. I am hoping to get some photos from my mum and when I have time will do a post on the christening, so these photos are just the last week.

First up, these were little gifts from my mum to the kids for easter. When I hopped out of the shower the other morning, I saw that Dante discovered their hiding place and had appropriately placed one on his head, and one on Claudias.

Our big thing this week was moving Claudia from her bassinette to the cot. She is moving and shaking the bassinette so much we were getting worried about it's stability so we polished down Dante's cot and moved it into her room once Joes parents left. Dante has had a ball having Claudia share his room for the past weeks and it's a shame to break them up but the cot wont fit in his room unless we break it all apart (too lazy for that) besides, it means I get to make Claudia's room as girly as I want!!

Anyway, the other day Dante woke up from his nap, I could hear him talking and playing. Usually he comes straight out to the living room to give me a hug (he is like me and it takes him several minutes before he is fully awake and able to communicate in a human manner). Anywaym curiostiy got the better of me and I went to his room to see what he was up to. He wasn't there. I was stumped. Then I heard chatter in Claudia's room. This is what I found (see how far she moved? she does that every sleep, often ending up at the other end of the cot, often on her back).

And the next sleep:

So we have had to talk to Dant about how he can't go in and wake Claudy up while she is resting. It's a big no, no.

Finally, I crossed one thing off my life challenges/bucket list (well not really, but it is something I promise to make every year but never do). I made hot cross buns today. Haven't tried one yet so don't know how they turned out but they sure do look good!!

I will post more once uni assignment #1 is finished and sent off! Until then, adieu.

Hello My Dear,
Our life has been hectic since our return but not enough to make me forget some lovely moments last weekend. Loved all the effort you all went to for visitors to Claudia's christening. Loved these pictures and happy to see some familiar things in Claudia's new room. Love that Dante wants to visit her and chat to her. I am sure they will have such a special relationship together! LOL
