Another chance to frock up & smile

While Dante and Joe were off to swimming lessons, Claudia and I had morning tea with "The Westpac Girls". This is a group of four of us girls, who all worked for Westpac at the same time (2000). Two of them are still there, while us other two got out a few years ago. I have just realised that we have all known each other for over 10 years and have had regulalr catch ups throughout that time (although never as often as we all like). What I most love about our friendship group is our ages. At the moment, the four of us are all in different age decades. I am in my 20's, Myf in her 30's, Viv in her 40's and Mandy in her 50's. Despite the age differences, the lifestyle differences, we still find so much to gossip and talk about. I love that we each make the effort to remain in contact, especially these days when life is so busy, staying connected socially can sometimes be very hard.

Anyway, it gave me an excuse to get Claudia 'frocked up". This was a gorgeous Fred Bare dress that a work colleague of Joe's gave us. I had put it away thinking she would not be able to fit into it until next summer but just on the off chance tried it on her, Lucky i did as it is a perfect fit right now and so we will aim to get a lot of use out of it before that cold weather descends upon us again!
